Every Easter Egg Spotted in GTA 6 Trailer 2
From a Tommy Vercetti callback to a gun-toting eagle t-shirt, here's what eagle-eyed fans caught in the footage.
Rockstar buried a handful of details in Trailer 2 that reward pausing and zooming in. None of them change the headline reveals, but they’re the kind of texture that makes Leonida feel lived-in. Here’s every one confirmed in the footage.
“Why did Tommy disappear?” — A billboard in the background carries this line, a direct nod to Tommy Vercetti, the protagonist of the original 2002 Vice City. It’s a wink at long-time fans rather than a plot hint, but it’s the clearest piece of series lore-poking in the trailer.
Bad-driving bumper stickers — Vehicles in the traffic-heavy street shots carry bumper stickers joking about bad driving, fitting neatly into the trailer’s dense, chaotic Vice City traffic footage.
“A new billionaire every week” — Lottery advertisements scattered through the city promise a new billionaire every week, the kind of satirical, too-good-to-be-true ad copy the GTA series has always used to poke at consumerism and get-rich-quick culture.
Jason’s shirt — Jason Duval is shown wearing a shirt featuring a gun-toting eagle smoking a cigar, a small character detail that fits the trailer’s over-the-top, satirical tone.
Why it matters
None of these are gameplay reveals, but they’re consistent with how Rockstar has always used environmental detail — billboards, radio ads, background jokes — to build satire into its worlds before players ever touch a controller. Expect more of this kind of embedded detail once the game ships on November 19, 2026, and players can actually explore Leonida at their own pace.
