Free Property Alert: Grapeseed Safehouse Is Up for Grabs in GTA Online

Free real estate doesn’t come around often in GTA Online, so it’s worth flagging when it does. As part of this week’s update, the Grapeseed safehouse is free to claim — no GTA$ required, just log in and pick it up.

Grapeseed sits out in Blaine County, giving players a rural-adjacent base of operations away from the density of Los Santos proper. For characters who don’t already own a property in that part of the map, it’s a no-cost way to fill that gap without dipping into savings that could otherwise go toward a business upgrade or, this week especially, toward the Pegassi Horus once it leaves its GTA+ exclusivity window.

There’s no real downside here. Safehouses in GTA Online serve as spawn points and general home bases, and having options spread across the map is generally useful regardless of what a player’s current business focus is. Since this is a freebie tied specifically to this week’s update, it’s not something guaranteed to stick around — free promotional items in GTA Online typically have a claim window tied to the update cycle rather than being available indefinitely.

The move here is straightforward: log in sometime before the week’s rotation ends and grab it. It costs nothing, takes a minute, and there’s no reason to leave it on the table, especially for newer players still filling out their property portfolio.
