Borderlands 4 Version 1.10 Raises the Level Cap by 10 as Weekly Updates Roll On

The September 10 patch opens up more build room, and weekly activity updates followed on September 17 and 24.

Borderlands 4 got a major progression update on September 10. According to 2K’s official update notes: “Version 1.10 increases the max level cap by 10 levels for all Borderlands 4 players, unlocking even more build possibilities for your Vault Hunter!”

What else is in the notes. The update page describes 1.10 alongside new content including Loveless the Hacker, a paid-DLC Vault Hunter with cybernetic abilities focused on Corrosive and Radiation damage; Story Pack 2, FL4K and the Last Resort, with a new Providence map zone, story missions, eight story bosses, 13 minibosses and new Pearlescent weapons; and Bounty Pack 5, Amara and the Vile Shadows. Vault Card 5 adds cosmetics and rerollable legendary gear through play. Because 2K’s page groups these items together, check the full version 1.10 notes to see exactly which are free and which are paid before buying.

Borderlands Support’s listing for the same patch adds that early-game mission rewards were updated, skills and items were rebalanced, and the weekly Big Encore Boss switched to a tougher variant with a better loot pool, while the Weekly Wildcard Mission now features guaranteed Legendary drops. We could not open that support page directly, so those details come from its search listing.

The weekly cadence. Follow-up updates appeared September 17 (unlocked Vault Hunter Heads and Skins for Loveless with Shared Progression on) and September 24, when a server-side refresh rotated the weekly Big Encore Boss and Wildcard Mission and moved Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine, per the Borderlands Support listings. The 2K page lists no specific future updates beyond the September 24 activities.

The year so far. Version 1.9 (July 30) added Bounty Pack 4 and a UVHM7 difficulty tier, and version 1.8 (June 25) brought the free Takedown at Hadron Abyss, Circle of Slaughter mode and cross-platform saves, according to the update notes page. 2K’s 2026 roadmap had promised cross-save, shared progression and level cap increases, and each has now shipped in some form.

Bottom line. For players who have hit the ceiling, 1.10 is the headline: more levels, more builds, and a tougher weekly endgame. The roadmap 2K published earlier this year appears largely delivered, and no new dates have been announced yet.
